ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Three people were hospitalized after an ambulance collided with a truck and overturned, according to DeKalb County police.

Police said an ambulance was responding to a call around 5 p.m. “when a truck failed to yield and collided with the ambulance, causing it to overturn.”

Police said the ambulance was not carrying a patient at the time.

The two people in the ambulance and a passenger in the truck were taken to the hospital.

The truck’s driver was arrested for driving without a license and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, according to police.
