CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Three people have been hospitalized after a wreck involving a vehicle carrying a crane in Cherokee County Tuesday.

The Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on Cumming Highway east of Arbor Hill Road. A vehicle carrying a crane somehow collided with two other cars.

Investigators are still working to determine how the crash happened.

Three people were taken to nearby hospitals. Their identities and conditions have not been released.

Earlier Tuesday, two construction workers were killed when two heavy equipment vehicles collided in Floyd County. Two more were also injured in that crash.
