Pedestrian seriously injured after 2 cars crash at Brookhaven intersection

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A woman was seriously injured after she was hit while standing on a sidewalk when two cars crashed at an intersection, according to the Brookhaven Police Department.
The accident happened at the intersection of Peachtree and North Druid Hills roads on Friday.
Police said the accident caused “one of the vehicles to strike a female pedestrian who was standing on the sidewalk.”
The woman was taken to Northside Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
